Default N2O on cam only car what next

On a cam only ls1 with a lot of nitrous what would pick it up most, a good set of heads or 90/90 setup?

I'm in the boat as you. I am going to go with heads next. I think the TB and intake are still sufficient. But, I don't have as large of a cam as you either.

You also have to consider that a "good" set of heads costs twice as much as a fast90

this is my thinking as well. I'm not looking for the best flowing heads money can buy. Just a well flowing street/strip set with numbers around 315cfm and maybe 11.5.1 or 12.0.1 ratio.

not always. I would personally get a fast 90 before I get heads. Plus installing the fast 90 is much quicker than putting new heads on.

For one Im not a big fan of the 90/90 combo. Plus I dont think a 90/90 setup will help that much with a ls1, I know they help bigger motors like 402, 408 but on a cammed ls1 the gain isnt that big from what I have seen but im not sure on nitrous. Im just looking for what is going to help out my car the most with the nitrous. I may just do both, but I still would like to know what would help a nitrous motor more.

+1, if cost isn't an issue I would do AFR's with a 90/90 combo. The gains aren't gonna be astronomical on a stock cube engine from a 90/90 but you will take full advantage of your H/C setup.

What about trickflows? I already have a car with afr's and a 90/90 setup and no n20, it runs good and makes great power but I wouldnt mind trying something differnt.

dang, I guess $$$ really isn't an issue here. i don't really know anyone around my area running trickflows on an LS1, but 2 local guys have them on their LT1's and are making some very good power, one is a nitrous car and the other is supercharged. Nitrous car makes 600whp with a 250shot.

The exhaust is more important than both LOL if the exhaust is up to the challange id go heads. and a ported TB and keep an eye out for a used intake.
