how safe is nitrous equipment in vehicle ?
is it safe to have all the stuff in your car? do you have to worry about having your car in the sun with the bottle? id love to go this route but i have passengers regularly and dont want to put anyone in danger just by having it in the vehicle. i know it will vary on area but what is the cost to have a 10 # bottle filled? i know nothing of this so please dont mind the silly ?'s. also if you had to remove to have service work done how long approximatly would it take? any reprogramming needed with a 75 or 100 shot? all info greatly appreciated!
It is not that dangerous at all. Get a kit with a blow down tub to vent the gas outside the vehical if the pressure gets too high. A 75 or 100 shot is a real safe bet without having to do anything except change your plugs to NGK TR6's and gap them at about .4 - .42 .
And N20 is not explosive like in the movie F&F. You can actually put fires out with it. Its NON-flamible. It has lots of oxygen in it and when it reaches a certian temp ( inside your cylinders) it releases that oxygen. Then its just add fuel. No programing eithor. If you have a hypertech or somthing you have to take it off, or at least pull the extra timming out that it put into the spark map. The more N20 you spray the more timming you have to take out and the smaller you plug gap needs to be.
Hope this helps a little.

Sorry, but you have to pull the bottle out every time you need to fill it, but good ideal.
