Default education comes high

Question for some of you guru's, i usually just read and dont post. I will say there are a lot of you who really know your stuff. Last weekend i made the mistake of missing a gear while spraying, and no i did not have a window switch. ( I just got one yesterday, along with new intake valves) My first question is, I have a msd 8969 digital window switch, I want to hook it in line with my n20 relay, and use its power for the key on power. The only thing i am not sure of is what they want done with the gray wire. it says it is to go to the normally closed ground circut. if my relay is normally open and closes to complete circut to ground when the microswitch is activated i should only use the yellow wire, right. Any help will be appriciated.

Next question, my engine is stock as a rock, (98 ls1) and i am amazed at the times i ran last weekend. 11.3 @123. i am debating on just going with a head, cam package, or i would like to have a stroker of at least 383 cid. how much would be there to gain. I know motor alone performance will be better than 12.5 possibly into the 11's , but i think i can do that with just heads and cam and run 10's on the juice. I refuse to install a roll cage, so that limits me to the events i can go to. lower end has 105k on it, now with small custom valve releifs in pistons (ha ha). what do you guys think

Also i have mt et street radials and can not hook worth a ****, do the et street non radials hook like the et drags???

1) You won't be using the gray wire. Fold it over and tape it off.
2) 11.3 is a darn good time for not hooking up.
3) You had the head off already.. should have done your h/c then.

good luck which ever way you decide but post up some pics/times.

The only time i hooked is when i ran some et drags and ran consistant low 11's. i was just wondering if the et street non radial tires hook as well before i buy a set. the radials dont, and i go to alot of events that require use of a dot tire. I would have bought the heads cam now, but i want to get a hood for the car, Plus 3 kids help my money go other places. I own my own auto shop so peeling the heads is no big deal had them off in just over an hour. i am just trying to get by for this year.
