Default head studs

Are they worth it? Engine is a LT1, I'm shooting for a 150 shot, but well everyone says you get addicted and will want to go higher. Block has 4 bolt mains, and forged rods/pistons. Just wondering if it would be worth doing, or if this is overkill or what. Thanks -Corey

I'd do it!! Wish I would of did it before my engine was put back together. Now I've had to pull the top half of the motor off the car and do it..

Thanks for the opinion.

I'm hearing ARP headstuds are the way to go.... No one else has any thoughts on if this is worth it?

It is not necessary for just a 150 shot. LT1's do not have a "lifting the head" problem like the LS1's have. I ran 9's on ARP head bolts. I have ARP studs now but I plan on spraying 300+ shot.
