Default Blow down tube rules

I need to get the blow down tube out of the car. I have a tube but it is too short. I would like to connect a hose with clamp on the tube and send it out the car that way but want to be sure it is legal. What are the rules on this? Search seams to be broken.

Not legal, already tried that and it didn't pass safety inspection. Best thing to do is order a 8an steel braided line from harris speed works. I think it cost me like $20 and its well worth it.

and it will need to be affixed with a bulkhead fitting....this will keep the end from whipping around if the disc ruptures
