Default Troubleshooting Help

Alright here is the background of what ive got. I have a TNT F1 wet kit with a 100 shot on my car. The motor is fully forged with all the supporting mods a G5X3 cam and a NA tune. I installed my nitous and put in the tr-6's and decided to give it a go. First of all i have never had nitrous so i didnt know what to expect. I set the window switch to 3000 rpm so i brought the rpm's to that in first and floored it I did feel something happen but it was so minimal I could barely notice. I checked the bottle pressure and it was at 1000 psi I purged the kit and nitrous is coming out so I gave it another try and same results. shortly after that second run my car started bucking and sputtering when I would try to accelerate (it almost felt like I wasnt getting spark to all cylenders) so I shut the car off for a minute when I started it the sputtering went away. I am really confused as to what might be going on I was hoping some of you guys may be able to give me some insight. Thanks

i've heard of other people having this problem...do you have any pictures of how this kit is hooked up?

no I dont but its a dual nozzle with the TNT power ring after the maf

Sounds like your nitrous noid did not open and maybe you were getting just fuel. Recheck all wiring, Check to see that nitrous is exiting the nozzle as you spray.

thanks ill check into that. Do you think the stuttering afterwards was due to the car getting way to rich cuz not enough nitrous was entering?

its because you had WAY too much fuel. The fuel noid opens and the nitrous not does not. You feel a little something....usualy its you going slower....lol. Then when you shut down you have tons of fuel in the cylinders and maybe even fouled plugs that takes a few minutes to burn off.

Its the classic sympton of a nitrous noid not opening. That can be due to several reasons. but on a new install its usually wiring. But the noid it self can be stuck, or an obstruction in the nitrous line or jets.

i agree with 383LQ4SS, i had the same exact problem with my car at first. what and how do you have it wired up? there was a nifty wiring diagram i found a lil while back on here for a setup similar to mine and it fixed my problem of the sputtering/lack of 100shot lol
