Default Question Stall and nos!

I have a ls1 with bolt ons! I have a 4000 vigilante stall in my car! I want to spray a 150 shot of nos! Alot of people say it won't work that a yank 3600 will be better? They say the 4000 vigilante has no anti ballooning plates! Will this work or not! Thanks for all your help!

ID SAY WITH ANTI-BALLOONING PLATES ITS PRETTY CLOSE.. DEFINATELY A LITTLE HIGH FOR YOUR MODS BUT IF YOU PLAN ON GOING 23x-24X DURATION CAMMED IN THE FUTURE THEN YOULL BE OK
IM RUNNING A MS3 CAM (6800 RPM SHIFTS) AND I HAVE A 3800 STALL FOR SPRAY... NASTY PERF HAD A 4200 STALL FOR MS3 CAM AND SPRAY

SO AGAIN FOR YOUR CURRENT MODS YEA ITS HIGH FOR THE FUTURE IT SHOULD WORK...

you need a lower stall speed.... and a higher STR.... Yank's SS series will work nice for you in a 3200 or 3600 stall speed.

a yank is better then a vig, no question about it.

will the vig work, probably, but i would not run it.
id go with either a 3600 or 4000 yank

im gonna be the first to say tryit before you buy another converter.....its more than likelygonna blow through the converter without the anti balooning plates......are yougonna launch on spray???if not oul be ok....vigilantes are known for stalling highe than advertised also.....
