When the kit is activated the motor must be able to build RPM fast enough to not allow the intake to "load up".

would you be lugging the motor too much for nitrous then in 6th gear at a little over 3500RPM?
how bout with a 3.23 A4? would you hit the nitrous at about 4000RPM in 4th at around 135mph?
in my 3.42 a4 v6 camaro (with top down and 75 dry shot), i sprayed 3rd to 115mph and 4th from around 120mph and the porsche i was racing still walked away. the motor was fine.
i don't think i'd try to wind out my LS1 like that though. i'd hate to melt my motor at that speed.
sounds like it went lean when you activated the nitrous. I had the same thing happen to me and destroy a fast intake. If your pullin fuel from the rail this will happen I had a slight bog when i went wot on spray and it finally caught up with me. I went to a nitrous outlet dedicated fuel system and put 110 in it, leaves clean every time, THANKS NITROUS OUTLET. btw youll probally need a new map sensor and a oil pressure sending unit.
