is going slower NA a necessary evil for going faster on a nitrous? I had a midwest 3800 converter in my A4 set up and decided to go th350 with a TCI 3800 "nitrous converter" and a FAST 90/90.had my car tuned for a 200 shot and I went out and made my first NA pass and WOW did it slow down!! 60' went to crap lost about .35 off my 1/8 but I picked up .3 and 3mph on spray!! Im happy about the over all night but I hate that it slowed down that much NA.

Sorry, but this is not entirely accurate information.
To the original poster, I've been struggling with whether or not to put N2O on my SS for a while now. I can't spray much to my PT4000 and all the big converter companies have told me I'll lose a couple of tenths by switching to a N2O converter when running on the motor. So it's looking like slowing down a tad N/A is a necessary evil in order to maximize performance on the spray.
