Default parallel

has anybody tried wiring, the noids in series instead of parallel. wouldn't it be safer that way ?! or is it too much load for a window sw., couldn't a window sw. just power-up a heavy duty relay instead or is there too much lag time for that.

When you say series do you mean positive to negative and so forth? If thats what you mean then no it wont work. A solenoid wont operation like that. As far as using a relay a window switch cant supply the amperage to operation a solenoid anyway. It has to be done that way. If you wire the noids off the window switch, you will burn it up.

it's voltage drop, and no, it won't work. You would have to operate them with 24v. Current would be the same.
