NOS plate
NOS plate anyone using the NOS brand plate kit? what do you think of it? does the plate give anything better then putting the nozzle just before the TB?

I researched that plate and almost bought it. From what i've seen on the site people that own the nos plate like it. The only reason i dont have the NOS plate is because they were on back order through nitro daves so i bought his plate.

planning on running a 100 shot...i have a Zex wet kit...it doesnt look like theres enough space to mount the nozzle in the rubber between the TB and Maf...plus id rather not b/c if i sell the car id need to get a new rubber....with the plate i can just unbolt it off...
any reason why Nitro Dave's is almost 80 more then the NOS kit? im sure it has its advantages but cant figure it out.......also what side do the nitrous lines go in? i have the solenoids on the pass side
The one difference that I do know about the Nitrous Daves plate and the NOS plate is that the NOS plate has both lines for nitrous, and fuel coming off the right side of the plate (driver's side) where as the Nitrous Daves plate has them coming off the back (either side) which makes for a easier, cleaner routing of lines.

When I had the stock motor in the car I used the 05168 NOS plate kit. I loved it. It was easy to install, and with the 100 shot pills in it it made 116 rwhp difference. The reason it has an advantage over the nozzle type kits, is that with a nozzle hanging down in the intake path, you will create a little bit of turbulance in your intake flow. Which helps fuel puddle up and increse the chances of a backfire. The plate dosent "disturb" any airflow, and it atomizes your air/fuel/nitrous mixture better. Just my .02

the NOS plate has a single discharge port, uses a paper gasket to seal the plate/TB/Intake and has the fittings on the side
Our plate has 6 discharge ports, uses an OEM style O Ring to seal the plate/TB/Intake and has the fittings on the rear
By using more distribution ports we were able to atomize the fuel more effectivly which improves distribution. The O-ring also gives a better seal and easier installation.
We carry both plates and usually have them in stock.
