Default TR 224/224 + nitrous Yah or Nah

I have a TR 224/224 561/561 112 cam in my car currently and the car has been tuned for the cam. If I did decide to go with a nitrous kit would it work well with my cam? Swaping the cam isn't an option for me. If it were your car would you put a nitrous kit on it and what kind dry or wet. I kinda lean toward the NOS 5177 kit because I have seen it ran many time here locally without problems.

Thanks,
Jason

Well I'm planing on adding nitrous to my 01 Z28 and it has that cam. I don't plan to go more than a 50 or 75 shot dry (don't want to push the stock short block too hard).

"IF" I ever go more than that, I will go all out and do port injection for piece of mind.

I personally would never do a "wet kit" (fuel and nitrus both go through the TB with the incomming air). The LS1/LS6 intake was never designed to flow fuel. As such, some cylinders can run leaner/richer than others. Plenty of people have it working and I'm sure they will have something to say about my feeling, but I just don't feel comfortable doing it. To me if you want "that kind of hp," go port injection and be safe.

Chris

TNT 150 wet kit

BUILD YOUR CAR FOR NA!! Nitrous is just a bonus... u use nitrous 1% of the time...

I am a little worried about the single pattern cam with a small LSA not working well with nitrous that is all. I have all the goodies bottle warmer, purge, window switch etc from my nitrous kit on my LT1 car so all I need is a kit.

i went from 356 rwhp to 506 rwhp with a TNT wet kit 150 shot... worked as advertised.

Think of it this way...

You have a cam for NA that make 350hp but on bottle makes 510...

You have a cam for Nitrous that makes 330 hp but on bottle makes 510

which would u rather have? NA because you run NA most of the time, and ur Nitrous hp lvl is the same

you may make more on the bottle with a Nitrous cam but it evens out... least thats how i think of it...

Run a wet kit but use propane for the fuel,no puddling plus
good octane, and no stress on stock fuel system.
