Default Just a few Nitrous questions

I just purchased a HSW single nozzle wet kit, Bottle heater, FPSS, Blow down tube, Dynotune purge, TPS switch/window switch, TR6 plugs and I think most of the other stuff to setup the Nitrous setup. I have been trying to search but have been having issues, what is everyone using to pull timing? I have seen the "timing tuner", is that the only option? I am looking to spray around a 150 shot, once some dyno time is available to check A/F ratio and everything. Would I still need to pull timing if I ran race gas? Right now I am cam/bolt ons making 421rwhp, I understand that I will need to upgrade to the Racetronix fuel system and thats not a problem. This will be used only at the track so I could run C16 or whatever fuel would be needed, if I can avoid pulling timing. All help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance. Also if I missing any vital parts to my system let me know!

I have a timing tuner and love it. Although most will tell you its not needed with a 150 shot or smaller. Personally I'd rather pull the timing and be safe. When using nitrous you don't loose horsepower pulling a few degree's of timing. I run race gas with my nitrous but then again I have a stand alone fuel system so its not like I use a lot.

OK, well are there any other timing retards that work with the LS1 besides the timing tuner? Any thoughts on whether or not if running race gas like C16 if I would "need" to still pull timing?

Our Interface controller will pull timing. There is a post in this section with a little info on the controller. It's still a few weeks away from being released.

Thanks,
Matt
