Default best way to mount bottle in back seat?

I want to mount my nitrous bottle in the back seat (driveshaft hump), first off where can i buy brackets so it will fit properly? I have HSW brackets that came with the kit will those work? Also where should i run the lines+blowdown tube so people in my backseat wont step on it? thanks

I used the "hump mount" (NO-00-3300) from nitrousoutlet.com. I mounted the billet aluminum bottle bracket (HSW-BTL-BKT-BLT-C) from harrisspeedworks.com to the hump mount so I could carry the bottle for refilling and wouldn't need to snap my custom painted bottle in and out of any mounts. I ran my blowdown through the hole under the rear passenger seat - you'll need a bulkhead fitting as there's just a rubber plug - nitrousoutlet makes a kit for this or you can make your own. I ran my nitrous lines under the center console and up through the passenger side firewall. The only parts exposed are the blowdown braided line as it goes from the bottle by the side of the rear passenger seat (then under the seat and out the hole) and the main line from the back of the console to the bottle. No one ever rides in my back seat but even if they did, I can't imagine anyone being able to climb from one side to the other and this is the only way they'd step on anything.

I just put mine where the back pass seat goes. Most of the people I hang out with are over 6' tall so nobody is ******* fitting back there anyways haha. Plus it's easier to reach when you're cruising around incase you need to "merge into traffic" or anything.

Yea I would definately go with the tunnel mount from Nitrous Daves. I just ordered mine myself. There are many pictures on this forum of people that use that mount. Looks very clean and functional!

How secure was that? Do those 860 heater brackets have rear brackets, or just fronts?

i bought some steel from lowes and bent it myself to make my own brackets, then i bolted the factory ones to my home made ones. i bolted my homemade ones to the driveshaft hump. it is VERY strurdy

i ran the line under the seat mounting bracket so they would be protected if anyone actually sat back there. there was already a grommet in the floor that i took the line through. from there i ran it with some lines that were protected by heat shielding all the way to the engine bay.

what i did was mount a smaller metal bracket under the heater mounts. then i drilled smaller holes through the carpet and into the hump to mount the smaller bracket in with smaller screws since i didn't want to mess the carpet up. the way i did it, it was pretty secure, but it didn't take much to rip the smaller bracket off the hump.

the 860 heater has those 2 large bolts in the front and 1 in the rear.

The 860 offers a secure way to mount the bottle inbetween the back seats. We do offer this however

I ran that ^^^ with my 15lb bottle and then a 10lb bottle, but will be switching to two 10lb bottles so I'm going to mount them behind the front seats down low.
