Default Finally ran the DP setup last night

Mixed feelings at this point. I was quite sure I'd get in the 10's with the kit, but let up about 200 feet before the line due to my car swaying badly and missing 4th gear. I made a few trial passes and the car would not go into 4th well at all. This pass prolly would have been in the 10's, but no deal since I had to let off. This was on 150 jets:

Also, purge was not working all the time. I think the solenoid was heat soaked sitting right over the Holley manifold. I bought the purge used, so I think I will replace it today.

The guy I was racing is Mike Brown with the Incon fed 2002 CE T/A. He ran me down big time after getting sideways off the line

Anyway, I will prolly try 250 jets at the N vs. S shootout next Saturday.

When i ran my 10.8's my 1/8 mile was a 6.8@101 with a 124 trap speed. I dont see why you shouldnt run that as u sit. My setup was a Stock LS1 with headers and a convertor(everything else on the car was stock and untouched) spraying 175 through a single nozzle wet kit 3500lbs raceweight. With your mods and a much more efficant nitrous kit IMO you should have ran better numbers. Have you tryed running open headers? That alone dropped me almost 3 tenths and told me i need a better exhaust. Good Luck and Keep tring you'll get there

Thinking about going to long tubes...don't thin MACs are the best for N2O.

Why were U swaying badly on the big end Todd?

Disconnected sway bar?

What kind of tires were U running?

They were ET Streets, but was in such a hurry that I didn't verify my pressure. I used them Monday and they were 15psi each. Could be one of them dropped some pressure and they were not even psi.

The front sway bar is off, but not the rear one.

Just keep messing with it. Bottle pressures, tire pressures etc. You have it in the bag!
