Default traction w/ 100 shot on street tires?

I've got **** *** street tires. I'm at 375rwhp now and don't get **** for traction. However, lets say I do a 100 shot and slowly ramp up the power. Is there any hope for traction?

Before you look into adding anymore power, get some decent tires out back, meaning DRs.

If you can not plant the power you have now adding any power will just make it worse. Buy some tires..

I have 285's street tires and spray in second with no spin. I think you'll spin for sure in first. your an auto so get some slicks and spray 150 off the line.

150 off the line will provide a great smoke show. I suggest suspension mods, tires and then nitrous.

Get some good Dr's before you do anything else.

I've got suspension mods. See sig. DRs are a problem here in rainy Louisiana. From a roll (feathering it in) will some GOOD street tires help? i.e. Eagle F1 GS-D3s? I'm running the 275 front 315 rear action, btw.

I've got a GTO with just under 400rwhp
I get around ok on normal street tires (I can spinn them whenever I like, or am not paying attention)
with my 100 shot, my car is dangerous without the DR's on

If I "roll on it" in 3rd
when I hit 3100rpm, the nitrous kicks in, and my 4300lb car goes sideways on the highway

make sure you have good tires on (if the bottle's gonna be open)

I have NEVER had an issue running Nittos in the rain, unless they were totally slick, which in that case, any tire would suck. Give them a try, I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised

I drive my car in the rain with Nittos. I am only slightly up interstate in Prairieville. I need to get me some new Nittos because I am running on ones that are bald, but they are still working in the rain without problems.

Eh, before you go with the Nittos, have you considered having a pair of "track only" rims/tires? Keep the street radials for the street, so no worries in the rain. Just another idea...

Get ready for a new rear end also when you run DR's and a 100 shot...if you don't have one yet!
