Default Nitrous Phase Change

I posted this in the Nitrous Section but haven't got any worthwhile feedback.

I was wondering if adding a remote NOS bottle opener (solenoid type, not the bottle valve turning type) to my dry nitrous system will make a difference in the tune. My reasoning being that changing the flow path of the nitrous might cause a phase change from liquid to gas before or at the nozzle, which would lead to the MAF not picking up the N20. Also, on a similar note why isn't it acceptable to mount the nitrous noid right after the bottle on a dry system? I am running a 100rwhp system from HSW using the NOS fan spray nozzle mounted about 5" away from the MAF. Any info one way or the other is much appreciated.

Listening in.

I blame pressure not turbulence for a phase change.

As long as the nozzle orifice is well smaller than the
solenoids and the "effective area" of the forward lines,
most of the pressure will be dropped at the jet and
that's where the phase change will occur (or just
after). This is why you see solenoids rated to a max
jet size.

If you mount the solenoid at the bottle the nitrous has to travel the entire line distance before it "hits". If you mount the solenoid close to the nozzle, it just has to travel a few inches.
