150 safe?
Alright, I just had a NX wet kit put on my car. When they put it on the dyno it hit 300 motor and 410 sprayed. Problem was they said I need a new fuel pump. So Im going to go ahead and replace the fuel pump. If I do that do you think it would be safe to up the shot from 100 to 150 on a stock engine?
I now have a new fuel system, but the numbers in my sig were on a stock pump....
H/C/I and 125 shot...510rwhp.
I would say its a good idea to get a pump but it would work without. 150 no problem with a pump...you might want to look into retarding timing etc...i havent done a thing to mine yet but will when i increase my shot to a 200...

If you have plenty of money to replace the motor, then it's safe. I have a forged motor with Racetronix electric fuel pump and 30# SVO injectors. 150 is all I can safely spray. On your '99, you have the smaller 26# injectors and are already max'ing your injector duty cycle rate. Anyone who tells you to spray a 150 NX wet shot on your setup is out of their ******* mind.

Ive sprayed a 150 shot a few times on my stock fuel pump.... I did need new injectors though. I bought a set of 42lber's. My intake manifold wont allow me to run a 150 shot right now, so I backed it down to a 100 shot and she runs great.... I would say to be safe buy the fuel pump though....

whats wrong with a 150 shot on his motor? i can say that i personally have 2 friends that put a 150 wet shot on their car with nothing more than TR6 plugs and they all ran great. a fuel pump would definitely bring you up to what that 150shot is supposed to give you and be safer.

Stock injectors and fuel pump with a 150 shot is very possible. All these myths that are being talked are just that, myths. I would pull some timing out of it, but otherwise fuel system should be ok.
