Default How much to spray on 04 Z06

I have a 2004 Z06. Before I had a Trans Am that had a directport setup. So I know my way around nitrous pretty good. I am looking to go with the nitrous outlet plate kit. Looks like a good deal. What will the stock fuel pump support hp wise on a 2004 Z06? Do I need to upgrade before I spray anything? I am only thinking about spray a 100 for now. Maybe 150 or 200 2 stage down the road.

the stock fuel pump will handle 100 with out a problem. if you want to do 150 or more get a new fuel pump.

Any suggestions on fuel pump? I ran a racetronix kit in my trans am. I remember checking them awhile back and I got discouraged because they didn't have an upgrade for the 2004 Z06.

The racetronix would be the way to go on the fuel pump upgrade. Your stock fuel pump will support around 450-500.

A stock bottom end will support up to a 150 shot safely.

I like your choice in the system.lol

Thanks Dave

I am looking on Racetronix's web site and it says it doesn't work on the 2003 corvettes. I assume it really mean 2003 and up.

Is this the case?

The ls6 can easily take a 200/250 shot with a spot on tune. Many, many run this size hit in dual stage. Quikest and fastest stock block ls6/Z06 is 10.51, but of course it's a dry shot. Actually all the top spots are held by dry hits, and the catagory this falls under is "Stock LongBlock M12/LS6 with any Power Adder". Good luck on your fast times quest, keep me updated, as I maintain the Z06 Fast List over at the vette forum (many catagories).

Correct. A BAP will help, as will a hot wire set-up, and/or an inline pump. Racetronics is working on a fix?
