Resistor for IAT sensor????

Resistor for IAT sensor???? What size is the resistor to give me a ridiculously low reading on that sensor. I will be using it in line with a relay to the IAT sensor to send the car in to the IAT/MAP sensor table in edit to retard the timing a set amount of degrees when the nitrous switch is activated. Any help would be appreciated. I believe Ken Kelly states to use a resistor to read -40' C. I just need one to read 0' C (32' F) since from there and colder is where i have the timing table set to retard 8 degrees. 
Re: Resistor for IAT sensor???? I used to know...since forgot. Sorry. I had a few resistors in way back when to retard timing up to three degrees. After a while I went with a potentiometer so I could dial in the Temp while looking at my scanmaster.
Just hook up your ATAP and start plugging in resistors. It will show up on the IAT. I want to say 10k ohm. But not too sure. You can buy a whole pack of different resistors at Radio Shack very cheap. Shouldnt take you long to figure out the one you need.

Re: Resistor for IAT sensor???? I have my table setup as of now to retard timing 8 degrees at 15'C and colder. I got one resistor to read -16'F which is in the table if you concvert it to C. It didnt work though 
Am i in the wrong table in Edit? Im using the IAT/MAP table in the ignition folder.

Re: Resistor for IAT sensor???? I do use a 1000 Ohm, 1/4 Watt potentiometer and adjust the temp to 90°C.
There I´ve set the retard to what I want it.
This was what Julio at Cartek recommended me.

Re: Resistor for IAT sensor???? A potentionmeter is an adjustable resistor. Although it is more expensive you would be able to vary resistance from say 4.5k ohms to 20k ohms etc. You might be able to get one from radio shack. If not there are tons of places on the internet you can purchase electronics equipment from. Just make sure that you get the right resistance range that you need.

7280 ohms = 41 *F - 5 *C
5670 ohms = 50 *F - 10 *C
4450 ohms = 59 *F - 15 *C
3520 ohms = 68 *F - 20 *C
2796 ohms = 77 *F - 25 *C
2238 ohms = 86 *F - 30 *C
1802 ohms = 95 *F - 35 *C
1459 ohms = 104 *F - 40 *C
1188 ohms = 113 *F - 45 *C
973 ohms = 122 *F - 50 *C
667 ohms = 140 *F - 60 *C
467 ohms = 158 *F - 70 *C
332 ohms = 176 *F - 80 *C
241 ohms = 194 *F - 90 *C
177 ohms = 212 *F - 100 *C
132 ohms = 230 *F - 110 *C
100 ohms = 248 *F - 120 *C
77 ohms = 266 *F - 130 *C
60 ohms = 284 *F - 140 *C
47 ohms = 302 *F - 150 *
