Direct Port and Standalone
Direct Port and Standalone I have a Direct port nx system and I was wondering if a standalone system is necessary? right now im only spraying a 100 shot but once I get my new motor it will def be seeing a 300 shot, also with a big 300 shot like that what is the best way to do it? i know there is progressive and 2 stages but didnt know if there was anything diff bc it is a direct port. sorry guys these are prolly some dumb questions but im new! and search isnt much of a help

It isn't necessary but would be an added benefit...that away you know you are 100% covered on fueling for the Nitrous system no matter what. My personal preference would be to do a 300hp single stage with a progressive controller that away there is less to complicate the system. You could also think about using a timing tuner with that so you can run max hp NA and flip the switch and let the timing tuner take out the proper timing for the nitrous.
