Nitrous and ASA cam
I am wondering how a 125 shot of N20 will work with my ASA cam. 226/236 .525/.525 110 LSA. Anyone use this cam and N20 and how do the specs look for N20

Re: Nitrous and ASA cam
The ASA cam is a good nitrous cam, the only thing I dont like about it is the 110 lobe separation. With nitrous you usually want a higher lobe separation than 110 (mine will be on a 114)

I believe it is because you have more overlap with the 110 LCA than you would with a 114. That is not as desirable with nitrous because you will waste a lot of it.

more lobe seperation means more nitrous goes in the intake and right out the exhaust without doing anything but waste your bottle pressure (and $$$)

No, you wouldn't need a larger shot, the cam will still work well with the spray but if you are going to buy the cam new why not just look into getting a cam with similar specs but on a 114 lobe.

Re: Nitrous and ASA cam
The cam is currently in my car. I love the cam so it will be staying as I love the lope and torque I get. I just want that extra 100 hp to scoot me down the track. Thanks for the input guys.
