Bottle Placement Is there any major negative impact in standing my bottle straight up at a 90 degree angle? I have the back seats removed and plan on placing my brackets along the flat area where the seat backs used to go. I want to be able to reach the valve easily even while driving if need be and this seems to be the only spot I can think of putting them.
The bottle is supposed to be mounted with the opening down because of the syfin(SP) tube. I can't see a proble with standing it up but I'd rather mount it like they say. Better safe than sorry IMO.

Below is the bracket I will be using. I know I have seen some true 10.5 racecars with upright bottles just trying to figure out if it there are any major drawbacks.

standing the bottle straight up is fine, just make sure the line is pointed towords the rear of the car. (bottle backwards) that way the siphon tube is in the mix under acceleration. or pull the siphon tube altogether and run the bottle upside down!

Just stand the bottle up right and face it forward. If you are running your bottles down that low then 
The siphon tube goes all the way to the bottom with a bend to get right in the corner on the outlet side. If the bottles are mounted straight up and you get air to the motor then you have less that a pound left and you shouldn't be spraying anyway. I would say 90% of all n2o powerd race cars have them mounted that way.
