Is anyone using the Jacobs Nitrous Mastermind controller? I have a few questions. I know that it ramps up the nitrous as a function of RPM, but what happens when the car shifts to second and the RPM's drop? Does the flow drop with the RPM's or does it stay at the constant 100% like the traditional time based controllers? Any help on this would be appreciated.

The mastermind will work on an LS1 if you change the stock ignition system with the Accel 300+. Check out this link: http://www.ws6.com/mod-13.htm

Well has anyone used it all? Even if the timing retard functions didn't work, I still like the idea of having the flow controlled by RPM instead of time. What about the Venom VCN2000 system, is anyone running that?

A few are running the Venom. But its not RPM based controller either.
I agree with the RPM method of control...especially on a street car.
You could get the Crane Cams RPM based controller then get the Ramchargers Timing Tuner. That would set you up pretty good. Youll have to do a search for the Crane Cams RPM based controller....but the Ramchargers Timing Tuner can be found to the right at the Ramchargers website>>>>

I have the jacobs on my dart and believe it limits the nitrous after shifting. I just have it set so the nitrous is set to be almost full after the shift.
