Default (I searched) Aggervated, lean on 50 dry shot!!???

Diablo tuner, used factory tune with 20% added fuel(stock timing) put the nitrous on (dry) threw a 75 jet in. had less than 900 psi bottle pressure .

saw 14.1 air fuel (wideband) and let out quick... hoped it was just a spike, but to be safe I put in the 50 jet, stayed in it this time saw 12.5 a/f... that's crap, this thing should be pig rich at that size jet, what gives? I read and searched. didn't find much. any help would really be appreciated.... here is a pic of where the nozzle is mounted. maybe that has something it? ...I doubt it.

I realize this is a 00 would the injectors be the problem? I guess there 26lbs instead of my buddy's 28's on his 02, he is spraying a 100 dry with 11.4 air fuel ratio!

Probably the injectors...I had the same thing happen. Make sure your nozzle position is optimal, spraying right at the MAF wires if your still having issues its likely the injectors.

A set of Delphi 42's (From HSW) and I was in business...you will need the tune changed to reflect the new injectors as well.

50 shot no problem...(although the injectors were at 106% Duty Cycle)

Here is the 75 shot...

what is so crazy? whats the best way? I was just told to turn it away from the maff so it will optimize instead of freezing the maff. I will try this first and report back. thanks guys and keep the help coming

well, looks like I will try both... this is the plan of attack

I'm gonna go wot with out juice first, that will tell me right there if there is a fuel issue with my car... It should be at least in the 10's a/f on the spray tune not spraying the car...

then i will try spraying away from the maff, if that does not work i will try spraying towards the maff... i never looked but the nozzle was pointing streight up.

going wot without the juice should tell us whats up with the car though... if its not a problem with the cars fuel system then its just a small issue... I will report back this afternoon. thanks again guys, love this community.

well, I think my car has fuel issues... uninstalled the hand held, a/f was 13.3-13.5 pretty lean. installed it back gave it all the fuel it could and it was 11.5-12.0 still, thats not cool. it should be like 10.5-11.0 at least with that much fuel added (20%) Pretty sure its not the wideband sensor or anything;I have it right at the end of the collector about a foot away from the end of my turn down (yes i'm running open headers) ...so its at the end of the header where the collector meets the foot long turn down. So what do you guys think? fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors? its got 119k on the clock.

I think a DIABLO tuner is crap. Get yourself some real tuning software for a laptop. You already have a WB so you're halfway there. I would suggest checking the inj duty cycle on the jug, see what they're pulsing.

well it looks like it may just have fuel issues... took off the tuner all togather and got a a/f of 13.7 no spray... put the tuner back on and gave it all the fuel it had and she came in at 11.7 no spray. on the 50 shot its coming in at 12.3 on pump and 11.7 with a few gallons of 110 in the tank.. feels strong for what it is. i think some injectors and a bigger shot and she'll pick a up a bit. thanks for all the help guys, it appears that my 2000 26lb injectors are just not enough to keep up...
