Default New best ... about time!

Finally got the car workin a good.

1.31 ...60' DR's
5.78 ...1/8th
118.5 .. mph
9.11..1/4

This was a local Drag radial race where a N20 small block can weigh 2800lbs.
Well my bucket tipped the scales at 3720lbs.

Glad to see ya get it all sorted out, a great run, in fact, if it was lighter we would be adding you to the 8.xx list, maybe next year, congrats. What kind of set-up did you finally go with for the spray? I get ya added to the Fast list also.

Thanks guys!

The car was running some good ET's for the mph.
We could hit it harder out of the hole its pulling the wheels about a foot and carrying them out 40' or so.

We have a track rental coming up on the 14th if the weather holds up.
I'll try to push it a little harder then, 8's at 3700+ would be cool.

Robert, I ended up getting rid of the controllers. I have the direct port on a wide open throttle switch and the dry second stage on a old MSD window swich.

Noyzee, Yep its an iron block

Ya it was on a pass to the 1/8th but I think we are just to conservitive on the tune up for the 2nd half of the track.

My tuner was on a picnic with his girlfriend so the only tuning I could do was changing fuel pressure.
first pass went 9.7 @ 138

took out 6psi of fuel 52 to 46 and it went 9.32 @ 145

took out 2 more psi and moved the 2nd stage in 200rpm sooner 9.15 @ 147

Didnt want to get too greedy with out a wide band or anything in the car so I didnt touch the fuel pressure just bumped the 2nd stage down 200rpm 9.11 @ 147.

Looks like I'm at that point also... think I'm going to get EFI live for my car.
Shiz is going BS3 so we will see how it works out.

I'll be done racing on the 14th hopefully with the car in running condition

I'm sure there's some weight you can take out that won't effect how the car looks or drives.
