Forteen, that is what I was planning on doing. New set of plugs, hit the track on Sunday, and spray on the race gas and see what happens after 1st pass/2nd pass. and so on.

Yes they are set to .35 right now. So you are thinking to move the gap to .28 or .30
what will that help with? the .28 or .30 that is?

but I Appreciate everyones input on this.
Thanks much.

.35 gap is good for pump gas on motor......

.30 is good for the bottle... keeps the nitrous from blowing the plug a bit. also it pulls some heat out of the plug. I had my TR6's at .28 with a 300 shot (definately dont do what i did... I hurt my motor possibly)

Good luck.

.35 is just fine for just a 100 shot. No reason to gap them any smaller.

I was just about to say that the tr6 is 1 stage colder, and the .35, I thought was for the 1 stage colder.
I was going to ask what shot, but I see you were hitting 300.

Dam, that did hurt your motor?

I am putting new tr6'ers in and will hit a few times on pump gas, check plugs.

Then at the track tomorrow. Then check plugs.

I guess that is the best way to find out who and what did this to the plugs.

thanks guys.

I run my tr6's @ .035-.037 on a 150 shot head/cammed car. You dont need to go under .035.
