Default Any thoughts on a dedicated fuel system?

I have a Nitro Daves plate kit that I need to install. But, I don't know what to do with the fuel system yet? My mods are in my sig... I have a 255L Lingenfelter fuel pump sitting on the shelf in my garage. Chris @ Nitro Daves says that the pump and Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump should be fine. But, I think it is better to be safe than sorry. So I thought of buying a dedicated fuel system from Nitro Daves.... I plan on only spraying 100 shot, but I would like to be able to spray 150 and get away with it.... Do you guys think this overkill?... Should I spend my money else where?.... Anybody else running a dedicated fuel system from Nitro Daves, or elsewhere?..... Appreciate any help!

Thanks!

A dedicated fuel system for a 100-150 shot?? That is a SERIOUS overkill.

If you fuel system is at a comfortable level without the spray, then you'll be fine without it. If your fuel system is already maxed out, then thats a different story.

Overkill, maybe. Piece of mind, certainly. You can run 100 octane in the dedicated tank and have to worry less about supply and detonation. I have a HSW standalone system and only intend to ever spray 150 shot.

+1 on the overkill / peace of mind. I'm using HSW's cell as well, but only went up to a 100 shot.

Overkill and a waste of money if you are only gonna spray 100-150.

If you are concerned with the fuel, or lack there of, then why not just buy a $35.00
FPSS?

Just my $ .02

For a 100 hit i wouldn't bother as long as you have a good pump in the car and can watch the fuel pressure, make sure it doesn't drop off too much.

A standalone is never a bad idea though, you probably could run the fuel pressure in the standalone a touch higher then needed, and put 116 in there and probably leave the timing up a good bit more then what you'd normally pull for a 100 to 150 hit and not have the car lose much motor power and still be safe with the nitrous.

I already have a fpss. I bought a complete kit from Nitrous Outlet. I just thought that If I bought the dedicated now. Then that would be one less thing that I'll have to buy later..... When I ever decide to build a bigger motor.

I don't know, mixed thoughts......
