Default New Gauge/Panel Setup

Decided to change things up a bit, I got a Trick Performance V Series gauge/controller from Nitrous Outlet (thanks Chris for the rush shipping!), to add safeties to my Nitrous setup. I created a new panel from lessons learned this year, LOL the major change is the stage indiction lights in the ashtray area...pretty useless, so I moved those to the pillar pod.

Anyways just wired it up and got everything workin...

Here are some pics.

New Gauges in Place

New Nitrous Panel...deleted the gauge power switch the EFI tune switch (hard-wiring that to be automatic tune switching), deleted the heater (Heater is controlled by the new Trick Performance Black Gauge), moved the LC-1 Cal button to cab vice the engine bay.

Cleaned up the wiring on the back side of the new panel

Here is the new gauge with the WB inputs and Bottle Pressure readout

You can switch the display to AFR only (or Boost) as well. You can configure the Gauge to fire the nitrous only when within safe AFR's.

Nice work Beer. I'm getting ready to rewire my nitrous kit along with wiring in my second kit. I'm also waiting on three new gauges to show up and will put those in a triple pillar. I like the single wires used for the powers and grounds. I'm going to have to try that out.

Nice lookin work dude, out of curiosity, where do you get the material to make the panel, that stuff is nice, I need to buy some to make a switch panel/gauge mounting spots where my radio and hvac controls used to be, right now I have something in there, but it's ugly!

Its made by Rowmark, I use 1/8" thick, its textured. You can get it from most engravers (they will probably have to order it). Shoot me a PM with the size needed, I have a bunch sitting around

I don't know what size, but here's a pic of the spot (circled in red)

I just need something a little bigger than that opening (when you take the cover off it's not split, one big opening) that I could trim to fit. I wanna put all the switches in the bottom thin part and put spots for the gauges in the thicker top part. It should look pretty nice!

Drove around today, ran it through its paces while logging. Works great Can not wait to spray with it next month.
