I think there are to many variables to say your going to gain a set mph by spraying a 100 shot. Weight of the car, gears, converter, track prep (traction), weather, etc. For what it's worth I gained 17 mph with a TNT 200 shot.

Big Mike,

Some of that MPH can be attributed to the forged, high compression (12.5:1?) pistons, right?

Bob,

I would hope so. I didn't go that route for nothing.
It's not a lot but I would think at least 1-2 mph.

Also, I think the high compression pistons is the main reason why the motor responsed so well to nitrous. I think it shines out more on the torque side rather the HP side. The car dynoed 585 rwhp and 720rwtq on the 200 shot.

100rwhp will equal approximately a 10mph gain in the 1/4....Its just an estimate. every 10rwhp gives you approx 1 mph.

so if a car is trapping 125 on the motor and you spray a 250 shot, you will then trap 150? doesnt make sense to me

I'll run on engine alone 12.8-12.9 about 101mph. On a 100 shot 11.73 at 112. That's about 11 mph gain right. Still 100% stock engine.
