Default does anyone agree with me?????

This guy on our local forum has a 02 t/a with long tubes and true duals and a lid ....he is spraying a 150 shot on the stock tune....

I say its a timebomb no way i would do it...or atleast i got a tune for my 150 shot....

Does anyone else agree that its not safe.....?

i didnt spray more than a 50 shot until I got my tune, and I only went through a bottle like that. 150 is a bad idea in my opinion

We've sprayred multiple cars on stock tunes, with TR6's and 93 octane.....never had a problem on any of them.

If he is running good gas and has the airfuel dialed in he will be fine as long as there are no signs of detonation on the plugs.

I ran 125 on my stock tuned Grand Prix...
that was the best 7 seconds ever in that car... and the only...

before you jump your seat screaming "flippin idiot spraying 125 shot on a stock n/a v6" it was just for fun.

The 01-02 F body cars run less timing than the previous years(stock all I could muster was 20* with good gas) and run a little rich from the factory from what I can remember. I think you will be fine as long as the fuel pump can handle it, a few Gal of race gas with at least 91 Oct, and your A/F ratio's are good. I think the stock fuel pump will be on the ragged edge though.

Guys notice he is saying they did not check airfuel.. That is a nono. Atleast read the plugs.
