n.o.s. mini controller please help!!!!!
i have an n.o.s. mini progressive controller (with an nos plate kit) all hooked up, ive checked that its reading the correct rpm, and the correct tps signal, when i arm the system the controller dispays " r r " like is should, which means its armed but not triggered. when i floor it and its in the rpm window, the display blinks the " r r " display and it doesnt spray. i called nos tech and they suggested that i check the ground wire for the controller, so i did and its ok. other than that he said he's never heard of such a problem. anyone here have any ideas. thanks

1) Verify that the RPM the controller is seeing matches the tach...check severel different RPM's
it sounds like you have all ready done this.
2) Verify the save TPS activation voltage is below your WOT TPS voltage.
I manually set mine .2 volts below my WOT voltage.
If all of this is correct it sounds like a hardware issue, contact NOS about sending it in.
it sounds like you have all ready done this.

Make sure you have the correct color wires hooked up for the corresponding stage, i.e blue wire for stage 1 and red wire for stage 2, whichever color you used make sure it's programmed for the stage, make sure your trigger input wire for ch 1 matches the ch 1 wire for the noids, that's all I can think off other then good grounds...

as long as the controller is showing "r r" it hasn't activated...it is showing "ready" on both stages
I could manually program the TPS with the key on but motor off...slowly depress the throttle until I reached the value I wanted. I had an issue where my TPS voltage was varying at WOT between 4.6 and 4.7 .... I manually programmed 4.5.
I am running the NOS mini also.

make sure you set it on 4cyl mode.
the NOS mini does not power the solenoids, it provides the negative ground for them. your relay from your kit should be it's power source

Ya my heater is on a relay, but it never stated anything in the instructions about wiring in the relay for the mini controller and I even called NOS when I was wiring the system to make sure.

Hey i understand r r means its on. but on doesnt mean its working right. a test light will tell you its giving its ground or positive its supposed to be. if it is then you can trouble shoot the rest of the system.
