is it a good idea to run 3.89 gears with say a 150 shot and a 3800 to 4000 converter.

 

could use a lil more info on the setup....You wanna make sure that your new gears don't put you in OD...

it's proven that you can can get better traction and of course 60ft's with nitrous with less gearing! it tends to be an "old timer's" of thinking in that you can have great ET's N/A but you gotta have the gears to do it and then just spray it but alot of times the high gear ratios and massive TQ from the nitrous hit's don't go "hand in hand" so to speak!

 

im runnin 373s and a farely loose 4000 stall...spray a 150 shot out of the hole...and have plenty of gear left on the big end....
oh my car is also cammed with full bolt ons....and i shift at 6500

 

I am also running 373's, A4, no stahl... NEED ONE.... 100 shot....
