Nitrous and timing retard - would this work?
The IAT sensor makes some spark retard when it sees
hot air. Would putting a switch inline give you
the amount of spark retard (maybe with just enough
shunt resistor to not set code when switch is open
but max the hot air retard) needed to give you
enough nitrous safety margin on spark?

I've heard of people putting in a certain ohm resistor in the IAC to make it read higher temps and decrease the timing via the computer. A switch hooked up where you can turn it on and off would be cool. I'd like to hear what ohm resistor it was i need to stick in the IAC when running the 150shot. I think with the 100shot "WET" I'm ok w/o retarding the timing.

many people wire up a relay to do what your saying, so when they arm their system, a relay changes the IAT value, to something hot, so it pulls timing.
If you have edit, and can edit the timing tables, you can even use this to go to dedicated spraying timing table, instead of just taking a few degrees out across the board.

I had mine that way for a while...never tried it. But I found it to be inconsistant ans less than ideal. If possible...spring for LS1edit or the timing tuner from Ramchargers
