I use the nitrous outlet window switch. It has a gear lockout feature which I really like. I dont know if there is something you could ADD to your setup, but maybe you can use your timing tuner together with the new window switch?

You can use this and not use the windowswitch feature in the timming tuner.

unfortunately i dont have pics. but if you use a switch just like the w.o.t. switch except normally closed instead of normally open. you make a bracket to mount to the shifter so that when you put the shifter into first gear it depresses the switch which causes the curcuit to open. i installed it inline to the 12v power to my activation switch. that way when in first gear the was no 12v to activate the nitrous system. cost me about 10 dollars for the switch and wiring

I forgot his name, but a huge guy in the nitrous forums here(beerguy or something like that with a sprayed c5 vette) did a full write up on a homemade first-gear lock out. Do a search for that. It had pics and everything I believe. Its been a while since I have seen it though. good luck

Robert56 is the guy with the 1st gear lockout using a mechanical WOT switch I believe.

No but some might have traction issues or maybe don't want to break the rear.

i just dont want to break my 10 bolt. and well i run bfg drag radials and can spin 3rd gear so i dont want to launch on n2o either. but as soon as i get my 9 inch...my setup is getting switched to a 2 stage plate! and plenty of juice off the line!
