Default Is fuel going to be a problem nitrous + cam?

Ive been talking to a reputable tuner and he is putting down my idea of a 150 wet kit. I plan on actually spraying 100-125. I want to get a decent controller, tr-6s, i have a wideband and hptuners so i can tune, bottle heater, purge kit, some safety stuff. My tuner says it is gonna be very hard to tune and the fuel system wont be able to keep up.

I plan on getting a fuel pump for sure and possibly injectors (im beginning to think that these are necessary). He says that there still is gonna be problems with getting enough fuel to the engine. Is this true or will i be alright?

Can i spray initially without injectors? I do plan on getting them but it will make things easier to get a few things at a time.

I have a torquer v3, full boltons, full suspension, rebuilt t-56, textralia clutch, etc. Stock 3.42 rear (will replace with a 9inch and 4.11s when it breaks)

What type of power and torque can i expect to be at on a 150 shot on top of my cam and boltons? I trap 116 on a full weight car without juice.

with a wet kit...you will not have to upgrade the injectors for the nitrous use, only if the motor needs them NA.

You will need to upgrade the stock pump to at least a walbro 255....if you go with the Racetronix kit, that will be able to support 6-650whp. That should be plenty of fuel for the motor and a 150 shot.

Tuning will be a snap as you will tune the car through the PCM for the motor, then to adjust A/F ratio for nitrous will only require jet changes, and minor timing retard through either the PCM or an external device like the timing tuner or MSD timing twister. I would suggest using an external device as this would leave you the aggressive tune for NA use and at the flip of a switch you are ready to spray.

Cool cool, a dry kit requires fuel injectors correct? Seems like you'd be find with just a pump then Jon. I might also suggest some 42's in case you decide to do a few more motor mods down the road.

i have the 233/239 cam from tsp. i have harriss speedworks wet plate kit. i have not changed injectors or new fuel pump. fuel pump has 120k on it, and my afr on a 125 shot was like 12.5 and gaining to richer. so you dont HAVE to, but if you have the money, do it.

You'll be fine on a 150 shot Jon its all in the tune but I would recommend upgrading the pump as said above. Oh and if you do let me know because I have a brand new Walbro 255 sitting at my house.
