Default 100 shot

hi ,can i run a 100 shot with a stock fuel pump?also i'm running 26 degrees timing right now. can i put race fuel in instead of bumping down the timing on a nitrous run?also can i run the tr6 plugs on a dd vechicle?your help is appreciated.

need to know more about your ur mods as fuel pump it will depend on the current demand it has before the spray and timing i would just bump it down to be safe because you never know when you might run into that viper or z06 and not have race fuel in and yes tr6s are good for a daily driver youll just probly have to change them more

the engine is stock with a lid , 160 thermostat,stock exhaust,3400 fuddle stall,mt drag radials and 3.23 gears.current et 12.82 at 105 with a 17.8 60 ft.stock fuel pump.can i get into the 11's with a 100 shot? thanks.and will the race fuel make up for the 26 degrees of timing for a track run only on the bottle?then go back to 93 on the street without nitrous?don't have ls1 edit to change timing. my tuner said running the race fuel for a nitrous run would be ok at 26 degress.sound right? thanks

or you could buy a timing tuner to pull timing only when you spray.I believe Harris' interface will do the same

thanks . but will the race fuel make up for the 26 degrees of timing and will the stock fuel pump work with a 100 shot and get me into the 11's at the track only and dd without the bottle.don't street race.too old for that.lol getting close to 60 guys but new to new technology, but nice having a muscle car with a.c and 20 miles per gallon!awesome

i've been spraying 175 on a stock tune and stock pump for 2 years no prob.and it has lid ,headers,4.10"s and th400 with a brake and a 3500 coverter...

how about timing fastbird, can i keep the 26 degrees in and run race fuel for a nitrous run?thanks for the input

itll be close to the 11s depending on traction stock fuel pump should be good a walbro is cheap insurance and some 100 oct should be good on the timing but dont trust me on that tuning is the only thing i dont do myself its just a quess im throwing out there every setup is different i would follow your tuners advice im runing 28 degrees on motor and pulling 4 degrees up top on the jug on 93 oct but the way who is tuning your car are they known for the lsx line

these guys are making it more complicated than it really is.

The short answer. YES

Why? Most stock LS1's can handle a 100 shot all day everyday. Even on a stock tune/pump. But if those need to be replaced then it gets a little dangerous. I ran a 125 shot on mine NO problem. but dont get crazy with it. Stick to the 100 shot and you'll be fine.

yeah its justaSB,he's probally done hundreds of tunes on ls1's.got me 24 hp and 32 ft. lbs. torque on the dyno after the tune went from 258 rwh to 282 rwh .with the converter and mt radials went from 13.33 to a 12.82.looking for11's now with a 100 shot.
