Default Remote Opening

So I am going to a two bottle system to add capacity and also help with the loss in pressure/flow throughout the course of a run. The problem is how do I turn the bottles off and on remotely without the expense/wiring mess of getting two bottle openers? I have the NOS solenoid style bottle opener but it is completely useless because you can't leave the bottle pressure on it or the plunger goes bad. Any ideas for a single automated valve setup to open both bottles remotely are appreciated.

Turn the bottle valves by hand....that is the only way without two remote openers.

You could use the NOS solenoid style...but as stated before you will need to open both bottles each time you want to use the system. So you might as well not use it.

It'll still be manual, but it could be quicker....

You could use a open/close handle like often used on larger air compressors, etc....

Damn, I am way too lazy for that; plus sometimes you need to turn it on when on the street. Especially when some punk in his white FireChicken pulls up to the line, j/k

Can those valves handle 1000+ psi? I remember someone telling me that brass fittings/valves are not to be used in nitrous systems. Maybe because the brass is too weak or maybe because it flakes off, I don't know. Hopefully someone will chime in on why Aluminum is typically used over brass...

How about you ask him to jump out and open them for you....

Wouldn't want it to be an unfair race.

I can't assure you of anything, but I have seen the large handle style on/off valves (like on a large air compressor is what comes to mind first) used on a nitrous system

Put them right behind you. Bam! Problem solved

J/K I had the same prob and didn't want to spend the money for two openers so I mounted the bottles up close.
