Depending on use conditions, if your go-lean enough to damage, I personally wouldnt be able to react in time (I dont sit and watch guages during a race). Nice safety device, but I wouldn't see the practicality of it. Just my .02

i don't see the stock o2's being accurate enough to catch it.

After seeing my friends 18:1 dyno run on a ZEX kit, and his AF gauge still pegging RICH, i am not a fan of the stock o2 sensors.

Hmmm...I wonder if someone has already tried this unit??

BTW: CAT3 it says that the Nitrous actually shuts off on its own if u run to lean...So you dont have to do it yourself. Sounds like a good item Ill go ahead and buy it and tell u all how it works.

That would be nice. I admit I didnt read the write-up this time, but seen one before and it relied on the factory O2's, and as "slow" mentioned had always kept shutting off, and stuff. But, every car is different. Post up the results please.

Thanks.

had the same kind of thing happen to me......

my stock O2s read 0.960 volts on AutoTap (so I kept pulling fuel out up to) yet when I got on the dyno with a wide band I almost hit 15:1 A/F

I also no longer trust stock O2s for WOT testing.....

One other thing I have seen is that running race gas will throw your 02 readings off tremendously. Getting 13.0 AF on my NA dyno runs was netting me about .795 on my scanmaster. On 93 octane i usually see .880-.899 for that range.

But...this thing could come in handy. Ya never know!
