Default Looking into Nitrous, Please help!

Ok, so after kicking the idea around, i've decided i'd like a little sneaker shot for those "oh ****" emergencies. I was thinking like a 50. Now what would i expect to pay for a complete system.. i want something completely safe, i have a m6 and im not exactly the best driver. Could someone chime in and explain how the nitrous system will work and how to use to be safe? Id appreciate it, also with the mods in my sig, is it safe or should i upgrade anything else... and what kinda numbers could i expect... im at 408 rear wheel as it sits now. Thanks again guys

you would be perfectly fine running a 75-100 shot. You really won’t even feel a 50 shot that much. if you plan to stay that low then all you would really need is a bottle heater. Timing tuner isn’t necessary, a fuel pressure safety switch is an inexpensive safety precaution that i would suggest.

I would do some reading of the stickies up top to get yourself a little bit more familiarized with how a nitrous system works. Basically switch will activate the system when you hit wide open throttle. You can either use a plate system or nozzle to inject the nitrous into the intake. Dry systems use the MAF to add additional fuel, Wet systems inject extra fuel with the nitrous. That’s a very basic run down, but as I said do yourself a favor and run through the stickies.
We are currently having one of the best sales on the market. You can pick up one of our high quality kits at a great price.

the only other thing I would suggest to add would be the bottle heater and FPSS. If you want additional safety you can go with a window switch which will activate the nitrous in a specified rpm range. Let me know if I can offer you any other help.

With your mod list you will need a fuel pump for sure if you want to spray 150hp. The 150 shot will be your safe size shot. Since you have a custom tune you will need to remove some timing. You will need to change your spark plugs to a NGK TR6 spark plug.

If you go with a dry system you may need to upgrade the injectors.
If you are looking for the best quality system known for making HP I would suggest our plate system with bottle heater, purge, fpss, nitrous pressure gauge, nhra fitting, blow down tube, and digital windowswitch with built in TPSand any gear lock out feature.

This entire set up is listed in our monthly specials you can find here.
