Default Zex wet kit.

Anyone use it for their Ls1? Thoughts? Can the nozzle be switched out for a plate? School me.

I have the zex wet kit, its alright, safe system, which is what I was looking for more than anything, but I am ready to step it up to something alittle bigger. My thoughts, if you are REALLY looking into a good nitrous set up, I would recommend getting with Nitro Dave, he sells COMPLETE!!! kits, and after thinking I saved alot, I ended up spending more, just to get little things, bottle heater, and window switch for the M6 in me, plugs, blow down tube, pressure gauge, purge kit, ect. All of which are not included in the ZEX kit. Not to talk bad on them, but dollar for dollar, I think I would of saved alot just getting a COMPLETE KIT..

I guess youre right. Are you using a plate or nozzle on yours? Also, what sucks is 125 is the max I can go with this kit which from what Ive been reading is nothing for my LS6.

Yep, I did it that way at first because I was a noob to nitrous, and it was the easiest way to go at the time. However, I just ordered new NX Lightning solenoids and a new trick window switch from Dave, and I'm in the process of redoing my system. The Zex kit was cool for what it was, and at the time, no one offered a window switch with built in WOT switch, so that was a huge plus. I was just never comfortable with the solenoids being contained inside the box and was always worried about the fuel solenoid not opening one time. I got the unit wet when cleaning my engine about a month ago and it quit working (thus the redo), so that's something else to consider.

Good luck!

The only thing I'll have leftover that I'd feel confident selling you is the MSD digital window switch. I'll throw in the Zex NMU if you want to try to get it working. All of the lights work and it recognizes my WOT signal, the solenoids just don't open. I'm reusing the plate, the bottle, all of the lines and the fuel pressure safety switch.

if you are interested in a plate kit check out the christmas sale we still have going on. Its an insane price for such a quality plate. at this price you might as well just start right off with a plate setup
