Default Should i? (dont jump down my throat)

I know people get tired of hearing the question "should i run nitrous?" but im about to ask.....i have a 1998 trans am with 120000 miles on it. i would simply like opinions on how much to spray or even if to spray and how long my car will last if i do....i will NOT hold anyone accountable if i take your advice and it screws up my car, just suggestions please

How has your car being maintained. If it does not smoke and does not burn any oil you should be fine to spray up to about a 150hp safely. With the miles I would suggest going ahead and putting a new Fuel pump in. These motors can actaully run along time racking up the miles and its not real uncommon to see a car with 100 thousand pluss using nitrous.

Ok well the motor should be fine. However since you have an auto there are no promises. You may turn the nitrous off before the shift points to help keep the tranny alive.

I'd hook up the gas....I mean...it's an effective way to make good power....their was a thread awhile back "How Many People Spray Their Daily Drivers" and I was suprised to see the DD cars that were high mileage running the juice....I mean...people do it...and yes....your car might not like it....but everytime you mod your car your taking a chance...

I would stick with a 75-100 shot. I would hate to see a 150 shot hit hard and have your tranny take a dump. That should be just enough to keep you happy for awhile.

125k+ miles on my motor 209k on the car and it has been seeing at least 1 bottle a week for the past year or so. No complaints from the motor(knock on wood) but the tranny didn't like it. Even with a window switch.
