is this normal??

awesome!!!!! was really surprised how much of a difference just a 50 shot makes, especially in second gear!
one weird thing happened though:
when i was spraying in fourth gear from 3500pmr to 5000rpm, and pretty much every time i was spraying, the speedo jumps around abit, maybe 5-10mph up and down while i'm spraying, and its not wheel spin (i wish!), i'm assuming this is just the solenoids sucking electricity or something?? could this be the fuel pressure safety switch or the bottle heater kicking on??
new to this nitrous ls1 game and want to make sure i'm not hurting anything, little worried
my setup:
car only has lid, granatelli MAF, 3.73 gears, and flowmaster muffler
nitrous express wet kit
NGK Tr6 plugs
MSD window switch set at 3K-5500K
bottle heater
fuel pressure safety switch
50 shot pills for now
spray nozzle plumbed into the bellows

fuel pump
dyno tune
= no worries about pinging or anything else.
and stop using the "octane booster". if you really want octane use toulene/xylene mix (search it on yahoo or whatever) or unleaded racegas ($$). you don't need it though.
plan on doing the fuel pump and dyno tune this month but figured 50 shot was small enough to be safe and wanted to make sure my set up was working proper before driving super far to go get dyno tuned
do you all think my granatelli mass air flow sensor is a problem while running nitrous? i've heard they can lean the car out a touch and change the tuning?
where is the best place to get a fuel pump setup for a good price that will support around 600rwhp too?? would like to get something extremely reliable (been through a few walbro 255 pumps on my old 5.0 mustang) and would prefer to buy from a shop that has been down this road many many times

As far as the mass air I am not sure if it leans it out, I know they should add timing.
You can change the timing using resistors on the AIT sensor, I don't know the exact ones to use though, I know there is a free mod to add a degree or two of timing with that method.
So I am sure if you had a certain resistor to trick the computer into thinking the air was on the warmer side instead of cool it would pull timing instead.

if your car detonates the knock sensor will pick it up and pull timing.

i'll put the stock MAF back on and i'm planning on getting this fuel pump kit, i'm still looking for a comparable kit with the aeromotive as i've not found walbro pumps to be the most reliable:

i'll be putting it on the dyno sometime in the next few weeks and i'll update this thread when i do with how it went, i'm pretty excited, just the 50 shot made a BIG difference
