Default NANO question

Well I saw the Nano setup in person. Is there a remote bottle opener available for it though? Perhaps I didn't pay enough attention as the the booth guy was talking about it, but if its out back with the bottle, well how the hell am I going to open it?

i dont think street use was really in mind. its definitly for people spraying very large shots. In which cause you have to go old school and actually get out of the car and turn it on.

Well its going to be a 200 shot..... I'll be hitting the track up, but at the same time I was def. thinking about the times I would need it on the street, say I line up with a Viper or something......

Could you leave the NANO bottle open, or would that damage the regulator on the Nano bottle?

If you keep your bottles in the back of the car you just open it when you start your car. Then all you have to do is activate your system , a little purge. your ready. Big or Small shots its a must have guys. no bottle heater needed. no batterys going dead in the pits. When your done Kicking A$$ , turn both bottles off.

Your ready at a flick of the switch when the bottles are open , until they are empty. And pressure is key.

if you really wanted to put the NANO up front , i'm sure it could be done. You would just need a high pressure steel braided line. A long 1.

There is not a remote opener for the Nano bottle. No need for one. The only opener you need is on the nitrous bottle. These Nano systems are great for the Street or track... No mater the size of shot.

I have the NANO going on my car as we speak. What you are saying is that its safe to leave the NANO bottle open all the time or do you need to open both NANO and the Nitrous when you are ready?

The NANO System works great! It bolted on (piggi-back), in minutes. I run the NX EFI 300HP wet kit. I run 150 due to stock bottom end. I have around 20,000 miles with lots of nitrous use, 40,000 miles total. I put the NANO kit on for the last few races. It is everything Tom Sr. said it would be. I would have to give this system an "A". I picked up 2 10th's solid over the bottle heater. No more heavy draws on the electrical system and it works great when it gets into the 50's up here in northern Mich. and keeps the bottles between 1000lbs to 1080lbs. Personally, I never turn off the bottle and have noticed no problems daily driving. I do shut it off when not using the car just in case.

You can leave the nano bottle open, I never had a problem with it. I did close it when I got out of the car though, but you don't have to, I just did it because it was a habit and I double checked to make sure my nitrous bottle closed all the way since the remote nitrous bottle openers don't always close them very TIGHT.

This is the exact reason I have never run nitrous before. I have always prefered blown applications because if I want to race all the sudden on the street, it just takes to much to turn the nitrous on, and then let it warm up to get pressure right and then race. By then... the challanger might be long gone. But now all it will be is a flip of a switch and im ready! I cant wait!!!

Well so long as I can def. keep the nano bottle open all the time, I'm really interested in getting the system. I'm using the 860 mount in the tire well, so I'm not really trying to open the bottle all the time by hand, I was hoping to use the remote bottle opener.

Which brings me to another concern now, someone above mentioned that the remote opener may not close the bottle all the way?

they close sufficiently...they just dont close very tight...say if its really cold and then it gets really hot it could possibly leak...doubtful though

My dynotune bottle opener would close it tight enough until we put it in the freezer and then it would leak. I just tightened it up when I took it out of the car as an extra safetly, nitrous isn't cheap, can't be losing any of it!
