Thinking About Putting Nitrous In My Car.. Need Help. Well I'm wanting to throw a 150 shot of nitrous on my LS1. I wanna know if it's too much for my car to handle (mods are in sig). I haven't decided on what brand to go with, or if I should go with a wet or dry shot. Don't really know the difference. If I decide to put the 100-150 shot, I'm going to have my car dynotuned with the nitrous. I don't plan on using it daily or anything like that. Just maybe like once or twice every two months. Basically just when I go to the tracks to drop down my et a nice amount. Only thing I need to know is what I would need to change out... Fuel pump, injectors, Anything like that. My car has 94K on it if it helps any. Thanks for the help, Ryan.
Your car would be fine on a 150 shot with a fuel pump upgrade. if you went with a dry kit you would have to replace the fuel pump and the injectors. with a wet kit you'll only need to replace the pump. Your ls7 clutch should hold the power pretty well at the track. Three things i would definitly recommend in addition to a base kit is a bottle heater, window switch and timing tuner. If you dont know what some of these are just read through the stickies up top. Reading through them will be the best way to educate yourself about this market.

I was wondering if anyone uses or has heard of compucar nitrous. My friend was telling me about it. Said it makes your car run like in a cold start mode or something like that, causing the injectors to throw out more fuel. He said it wasn't expensive at all and it works pretty good.
