I was wondering is it true for an LS1 that you have to have the MSD window switch set on 4-cylinder mode

 

It is true. It took me about an hour to figure out why mine was reading off, then I switched it and it's perfect----we're talking about the digital right?

 

No i got the regular switch it has two loops you can cut for 8cyl 6cyl 4cyl

 

the digital is 4 for sure but i think they both are.

 

If you have the MSD that takes pills and has not been modified for the LS1 yes you will cut both loop wires.

I was just searching this exact same thing. I had to alter my shift light the same way. Thanks Nitro Dave. While I have you here I need an adapter for the fuel test port for my fuel pressure guage and 4an nitrous line. Do you have this? Thanks
