Default Stickies at the top of the forum...discussion please

Nitrous section has a TON of stickies. I just want to see what the users think are good stickies and which ones may have outlived thier usefullness.

Any threads you want to nominate to make stickies?

Any stickies that you see can be combined?

Al, what if we were to merge Spark Plugs/Jets/Wiring/Accessories under one giant thread called: Nitrous Spark Plugs/Jets/Wiring/Accessories or something to that effect. Maybe just have someone re-type it as a giant post and get rid of most of the replies. If we can do that? The nice thing is if someone re-types it, we can just let the original threads fall but will still be available for a search function.

Yea, something needs to be done. especially in the wiring. I was going to clean this up, however, justhaven't had the time. All of cats diagrams are gone, the ones from Ricky after he left NX are gone, and I changed web sites, though I still have all of mine just haven't updated links.

The nitrous forum polocy should be removed, we all know whats up there. The top ten all time should be combined with the 2008 n20 list, which I will keep updated, and we might as well dump 2007 cause it's now 2008 and we are close to starting a new list cause racing will start shortly.

Yea, good idea. I think we'll will start a new one and just link this one for reference, and think 2006 may be in the lead post already?

Personally I found the plug chart stickie, and the jettign stickie both rather useful, epsecially for a referance when people are running a different plug then the norm, etc.etc. I also found that the jetting supplied with my 90mm Nos plate was rich when I ran the car on the bottle the first time, and after reviewing the jetting stickie I think I now unerstand a little better why (supplied jetting for 150 hp was 63 nitrous 44 fuel, a bit heavy on fuel jetting)

I'd leave at least those 2 alone.

i have a basic question... i am wanting to run a dry shot, 125hp to be exact. i do not know what kit, probably whatever is on sale.

the things i will buy in addition to that are the dyno tune lean kit and probably a purge kit, perhaps a remote bottle opener and bottle warmer for sure.

my question is, since i will be running a dry shot, and an FM13 cam, will i need larger injectors? if so 42's or 60's? can stock pump handle that? and i have HP tuners, what afr should be run in anticipation of spraying. i run about 12.8:1 n/a, and stock timing(not a fan of raising timing)

should i run 10.5:1 when getting ready to hit the spray?

I think you should add this thread.
People need to know what to look at when looking for the right system to fit there needs.

The wiring diagrams definately need cleaned up. What would it take to get the diagrams that were lost, hosted on this site?
I agree that the two lists should be combined, kind of redundant. It just sucks that I have to wait until June to make it to the 2008 list.

I would agree that this should be made a sticky when it does not insinuate that a higher price necessarily means your getting more for you money.

Perhaps we can all work together to add additional information, for instance “Just because its cheaper does not mean it isn’t the best or just as good as the rest” and then elaborate on how a company can efficiently and effectively operate itself in a manner to reduce costs and pass those savings along to a consumer. Logically you wouldn’t want to deter a consumer from purchasing a product because the price is lower. I think adding such information would really make a consumer knowledgeable enough to make a purchase with confidence. If you want to make a consumer aware of what they should look for, you should give them ALL the information they need. Since this was a technical post, i dont see why anyone would disagree.
