i recently learned that if you did your 150 kit right that you should have no problem at all....my buddy works a motorsports shop and he is even using stock fuel pump....ran countless bottles through his motor

All I was trying to say was that he should proabably change the injectors based on his N/A numbers. If he was stock he wouldn't max the injectors out before the hit and be completly fine.

What is he running N/A, thats all that really matters when considering injector size. 150 is a simple industry standard for "time to upgrade the fuel pump. Im curious to see what engine work he has done (well not done) to allow him to maintain safe fuel pressure undera 150 shot.

My old setup was stock injectors, just the cheap $100 inline pump and i could spray a 200 and not run out of fule. My car was runing high 9's all day, and stock bottom end. Im not fan of dry ive seen way better gains with wet kits just my 2cents

what were the modifications done the the engine? what kind of power were you putting out NA? i am assuming you were around 450 NA to get into the nines on a 200 shot. In which case i fail to see how you would not have maxed out your injectors.

I have a very similiar setup with a slightly bigger cam and yes, i started to run out of injector at 415 rwhp. But thats totally independent of the wet system though. Think of it this way, even if you didnt have a wet kit on the car...you would still be maxing out the injectors.

i put my car back to stock after an RPM level 5 4l60e install and TCI 3000.. had a 96% Duty Cycle NA.
don't know why because it used to be 76% DC NA on the same 26lb injectors. car is virtually stock tune and all besides a lid right now. don't know why this happened.

Well I am wondering, will the fuel pump take some work off of the injectors by maintaining proper fuel pressure? I have a feeling at high rpms the stocker might be having a hard time keeping up.

I would say change out the injectors if your fuel duty cycle is that high, plus makes room for the future. Just my 2 cents.

No. My injectors were over 115% DC without spraying, they were most likely clogged or just not operating correctly. What was your fuel pressure during the pulls? 58 psi is at idle and its normal to see a small drop with the WOT pull. A WOT pull at 56 psi with an IDC of 95% would just mean that you need larger injectors. Adding a fuel pump would not make the IDC go down. It would be supplying the same amount of fuel.
