Default good nitrous cam for my application

ok guys, basically i have read read and read, at first i was set on a big nasty cam like a Trex or HPE megadeath, but the more i read ill need a huge stall and big gears. the mods on the car will be as follows:
headwork on 241 heads..minor head work to help with flow
performabuilt tranny with a 3200-3600ish stall
(currently have 3.73's, might be willing to go 4.10's when i put in the 9 inch)
HSW nitrous wet kit.. car will be seeing a 100 shot

and the other bolt ons, LS6 intake, headers, cai, etc.

my goals for the cam....go big or go home, works well with the nitrous, suitable for my stall/gears applications, LOPEY, street manners mean very little, car wont be daily driven. basically i dont want a cam to have NO low end torque on all motor, i would like something to perform well on all motor, have low end TQ also.

People have had pretty good results spraying on an MS3 (237/242 .603/.609)
Trmin8r Made something like 620-640 spraying a 200shot on his Cam only MS3 car.

he will need bigger than a 3600 stall to take full advantage of that cam.

Well I think the spray is going to help flash that converter just a little bit higher.

Unless you are spraying over a 200 shot on regular basis, just buy a cam for your NA needs.

And yes the cam will flash the converter higher..

I agree

Even something like a Torquer 3 (231/234 .643/.598) would make great NA power, work well with the 3600 converter you have and take to N2o well.

Torquer 2 or MS3...both work really good with nitrous....got a buddy running the torquer 2 tuned for spray..picked up 106hp on just a 75 shot.....runs mid to low 11's on the 75 shot and thats with a 5500 DA...stock heads and a Vig 3600 stall.

If it was for an NA car id say 3800 would be just fine for a MS3.

buy a NA cam and spray it..... nitrous just increases cylinder pressure by the boatload. If you want to do something more specific.... increase the LSA over 114+ and go longer on the exhaust duration. Nitrous performes the best from 3000-5500.... so make your power there and keep the motor alive. And stick with a 4000 stall... unless you plan to spray over a 200 shot... then I would get something tighter or more expensive.

You do not need a "NOS" profile cam, you can use a standard dual pattern design and make great all around power/trq., and still perform excellent on spray. Custom Crane HR5 Lobe 232/236 .600/.600 112+3.5 will do EXACTLY what you want it to do.
