Good run Shawn, tighten up the converter and or gear change will get you in the 9's.

Both will help keep the front end down also.

 

I'm thinking gear change and re-dyno and maybe throw some extra timing in.

I ran a 9.70 @ 142 back on June 19th, haven't been out much since. My mph was down due to the oil pump going south.
And I am the same person (slicknic) in the #12 spot so you can delete that one. I changed my screen name awhile back.

I did a search for " Fastest - Quickest air conditioned NOS F-body "

Nothing comes up for what I'm looking for.

My question is who has the " fastest - quickest , A/C, with NOS " 1/4 mile F-Body in the world? What does this car run in the 1/4 mile?

This is a reasonable question. Google comes up with NOTHING. My friends don't know. I did a search here on ls1tech. So I thought I would give it a shot here. Remember it has to have A/C........

The reason I ask is because once the bigger heads like the ETP's are used, the a/c lines on the fire wall butt with the head making it dificult to run a/c on the car. Hence most cars with bigger heads have no a/c.

Ban. NOS is a brand of nitrous oxide. We use Nitrous Oxide....not "NOS." Honda Civics use "NOS."

as for quickest ac car, kind of funny question, but mine went 9.7-9.8 with full options pretty much. B-man went 10.4 with ac still, stock heads mild cam and a 125 shot.
ATV went bottom 9's, i forget if he had ac or not, but i know he was pretty much loaded

I'm hoping to make it out one more time this year, try lighting the wick a little bit before it comes apart for the next round of changes and gets freshened up.

I think there's a little bit left with the way it is, I'd like to find out

id have to say this car is it with AC, i have not heard of anything faster

That's my bad then. I didn't know you were limiting it to the fastest F-body, with a/c, with a NOS nitrous system.

One question though....why just NOS? Why not NX, or ZEX, or any of the many other systems????
